St Pauls Beneath the Millennium Bridge

£7.00

How does one capture such a scene without any people? The secret is to take a very long exposure using filters. It is also best to go to such a place when there are unlikely to be too many people. So this image of St Pauls was taken in the early morning on a still overcast day. With my tripod basically at ground level and with a couple of filters on the camera, the exposure lasted for about three minutes. The clever thing that filters do is to remove anything that moves. Then back in front of the computer with processing I wanted to being out a slightly creamy feel to the scene.
