Saint Volodymyr's Cathedral is one of the main religious buildings in Kyiv, Ukraine. This image shows the front facade. Saint Voloymyr's Cathedral was commissioned in the nineteenth century and was finished in 1892. During the Soviet period it was an anti-religious museum, but since the retainig of Ukraine's independence it has become an important city centre Cathedral for all Ukrainians.
